The hotel was lovely, clean and modern. The beds were hugeeee and very comfortable and the hotel smelt lovely. Staff were friendly and in the perfect location right in the centre of everything.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening provided complimentary umbrellas when it was raining. The location is fabulous and an easy walk to the shows, shops, underground, restaurants and bars. The hotel has a wonderful roof top bar that does amazing cocktails and nibbles. Would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely be back.

Modern tasteful decor and friendly, helpful staff make this a good choice for anyone wanting an attractive upscale Covent Garden location. Relatively quiet for location in the busy theater district. Comfortable bedding and decent supply of fair trade coffee, tea and water supplied.

The location of this hotel is great. However I will say that if you plan to travel mostly by train and you don't like to walk much, maybe this location is not for you. The nearest train station is 7 minutes away, but that's the Piccadilly line that doesn't go everywhere. When we needed the Elizabeth line for example it was 15 min walk. However there are a lot of buses near by so also consider that. Regarding the room, the bed was comfy, the shower was amazing, everything was clean.

Excellent location for theatres restaurants and attractions for Covent Garden and locality. Situated on a quiet street within easy walk of tube and public transport. We felt safe walking around the area at night. Our 'Comfy' room was modern, well appointed and clean, it was also quiet (no background hum of London traffic). Control panel allowed us to adjust the temperature to suit, that together with large bed and quality bedding made for a comfortable nights sleep. Check-in was easy, staff helpful and pleasant. Able to leave luggage before and after check-in.

We travel extensively throughout the year. Each September, we stay in the West End London theater district for our anniversary. For many years we stayed at two specific hotels in the area. Due to unavailability at these hotels this year, we selected the Amano Covent Garden. Upon arrival, our room was not adequate for a six night stay. The front desk staff, including the hotel manager, Ana, were most concerned for our comfort and gave us another room to meet our needs during our visit. They expressed to us that they wanted to ensure our comfort and would accommodate us in every way. They succeeded. For our entire stay, they availed themselves. We have never experienced such customer service anywhere we have stayed in the world. Our updated room was spacious and comfortable. The restroom facilities were magnificent, including the shower. The bed was impeccably comfortable. The hotel location was perfect for and accessable to all areas of London. The restaurant, Penelope, was very unique in food and beverage selection, and well worth a visit for breakfast and/or dinner. The staff and manager continued their extraordinary customer service when we explained that we had a very late evening flight home and that my wife had become ill the day before. They graciously extended our departure time to one o'clock in the afternoon that day. Upon our departure, we informed the front desk staff and Ana that the Amano will be our choice of hotels each year we return to London for our anniversary. We will also request room 618! We didn’t have breakfast & the restaurant was closed whilst we were there so we cannot comment on that. We however liked everything we did experience about the hotel, it was modern & clean, the rooms were comfortable & well equipped, staff were friendly & the hotel was in a very nice & convenient location for everything. Whilst in London we went to a performance at the Royal Opera House & it was literally round the corner from the hotel. We travelled by train into London Euston, then we got a bus outside the station, a no 68, stand F @ £1.75pp, it took about 10 mins, then it was about a 5 minute walk to the hotel, the buses run about every 10 mins. We had a lovely time in London & the hotel was perfect for us, we would definitely recommend & hope to return in the near future.

Great location only steps from Covent Garden and the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane Staff very welcoming and friendly Great cocktails on rooftop bar (heated outside area plus lovely inside bar) has views of The Shard and London Eye Key card security to use lifts Boutique feel and size rather than large impersonal brand Have already booked to revisit Nice bathroom and toiletries, clothes steamer (instead of iron) and hair dryer. Ipad type tablet in room for local info.

Staff were really friendly and accomodating, nothing we asked for was too much trouble! The room had everything we wanted, the bed was really comfortable, as were the linens. Pillows were comfortable, soft yet supportive! The in room heating and ac worked really well and the shower was fabulous! The waterfall shower head was powerful and the water temperature was hot! The room also came equipped with a clothing steamer which is much more useful than an iron and ironing board! They very kindly allowed us to check in early as they had a room available when we arrived to drop off our luggage at 11am which was a very pleasant surprise! Despite what others have said, we couldn't hear the nightclub from our room despite it being open! We were on the second floor!
